Oil & Gas Midstream
As we work with companies throughout the oil and gas supply chain, the midstream sector, involving the transportation (by oil tanker, barge, pipeline, rail or road), storage and wholesaling of crude oil and petroleum products from production sites to refineries, is core to our business.
Standard repair and maintenance projects, such as plant upgrades, blasting and environmental containment or heat treatment, can all be carried out safely using our SAFEHOUSE habitats and engineered protection systems, without the need for shutdown.
Our early intervention and involvement in the planning of such work scopes enables simultaneous operations to go ahead safely, adding value to projects whilst enhancing the working conditions and environment for your people
Oil & Gas Downstream
Naturally, the downstream sector, that deals with the refining of crude oil, and processing and purifying of raw natural gas, as well as the wholesaling of products such as petrol, diesel, kerosene, heating oils, lubricants, waxes, asphalt, natural gas, LPG, and hundreds more petrochemicals, is a high risk environment.
Using our knowledge and experience from extensive offshore applications around the world, we are supporting our onshore, downstream clients with innovative solutions for working safely in zone (1 and 2) restricted areas.
From completion of hot work to coatings and prevention of cross contamination, our ATEX / IECEx certified products can be integrated into plans to ensure this engineered protection will really add value to projects by enhancing the process safety regime – increasing tool time whilst keeping people safe.

In line with DSEAR 2002, we work alongside maintenance teams to plan, deliver, install and manage safe working environments, to enable alcohol production to continue safely whilst hazardous work, such as hot work in an explosive atmosphere, is carried out. This includes maintenance and repair work to stills, bottling halls, transmission rooms and warehouses, which where appropriate, may be designated to be zone 1 and 2 hazardous areas.
